Hi, this is Sheryl Garrett. I’m the founder of the Garrett Planning Network. Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little bit more about what the Network has to offer and what we stand for.

I’d like to take a moment now to share with you the mission of the Network. First and foremost, our mission is to increase public awareness that competent, objective financial planning and advice is available and out there for them on an hourly, Fee-Only basis, accessible to all. We also recognize that an important part of our mission is to stimulate the growth of the number of practitioners who provide advice on a one-time or as-needed, hourly basis. We also assist new CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioners, or those working towards that designation, to establish and replicate successful practices. Another important part of our mission is to assist established CFP® practitioners, or those working toward that designation, in their transition to Fee-Only financial planning.

We hope to accomplish our mission by providing a network, an infrastructure if you will, of expertise and support for independent practitioners and small planning firms alike. One of our mantras at the Garrett Planning Network is: “You may be self-employed, but you are never alone.”
